The Chitkara University Doctoral Consortium (CUDC-2023) held on November 3-4, 2023, commenced with Dr. Madhu Chitkara, Pro-Chancellor, Chitkara University, and Dr. Archana Mantri, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University, delivering the opening remarks. Dr. V.V. Ram, an illustrious alumnus of Chitkara University and the Managing Director and CEO of Seedworks International Pvt. Ltd., further emphasised the pivotal connection between academia and industry in the PhD journey. The Consortium showcased 600 papers across a wide range of fields, demonstrating the extensive scope of research. The "Meet the Editor" series, featuring renowned editors Dr. Arpan K Kar (Professor, Indian Institute of Technology, New Delhi), Dr. Charbel Salloum (EM Normandie Business School, France), and Dr. Parmod Singh (Professor, CSE, IITM Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh), provided valuable insights into manuscript development and review procedures. Guest speakers focused on research and innovations in various fields. Expert talks from various professionals facilitated networking and knowledge exchange, along with technical sessions covering diverse disciplines. On day two of CUDC-2023, the highlight was the "Meet the Editor" series, featuring Dr. Md. Mamum Habib, (School of Business and Entrepreneurship, Independent University, Bangladesh) and Prof. Dr. Ranjith Dayaratne, (Asian School of Architecture, Melbourne, Australia) provided valuable insights into publication procedures and research writing skills. The day saw expert sessions and intellectual discussions featuring distinguished speakers from various fields. Additionally, Chitkara Design School organised a four-day International Painting Consortium with the theme "Visual Creation and Practical Notion," which ended that same day. At the end of the consortium, attendees gave enriching presentations in technical sessions across nine tracks.
