So glad I have Transmuted Spell via the Metamagic Adept Feat... so instead I cast blueballs!!!!! Er I mean snowball... yeah....

yeah that's fair. in general though i think KH3 kinda gives way too MANY options. attractions, metamagic, every keyblade with different forms, "limits", the shooting mechanic that replaces the drive gauge
like, they're nice to have. but trying to choose ONE in the moment is meh

based on his daughter, as well as some other remarks in the epilogues, incantationless casting (and more importantly, it's ability to unlock metamagic) becomes fairly widespread by the generation of his grandkids.

Prestidigitation zero question. Cast all day. Easy to metamagic into untraceability at zero cost with the right set up. If your high enough caster level it can almost beat Wish for amusement effects.

I updated my Saint idea design.
Gonna be used for a D&D game once he's ready. He will be a True Neutral, with a Fighter lv2, and Shadow Sorcerer Lv3.
Blind Fighting, and Metamagic Adept for a lot of shenanigans.

Wait, can both subtle and quicken spell be applied to a casting of BB? Looks like its one metamagic per spell except Empowered

Warcaster is def helpful for a few reasons with this build! But with the shield spell specifically, subtle spell metamagic works to cancel the somatic component of the spell, making its casting possible while wielding weapon and shield. Thatโs my understanding of the text!

Magician you mean a sorcerer? Sorcerer has pretty good early levels, it falls behind because it doesn't gain really much more than extra spell slots from metamagic, and very limited amount of spell slots, and the effects of metamagic lose a little of noticeable effect too...
