This comes across as fandom culture again. Rather than experiencing something for your personal fulfilment, you need to find a simpler way to consume it simply out of desire to be a part of that fandom. Everything is done simply to gain the ability to "talk about it"

The personal interactability enhances the overall experience. No, you do not gain everything simply by watching, even with a story focused game. You still strip yourself of the uniqueness and importance of what separates a game from other mediums. Gameplay enhances storytelling

The β€œyou can be a fan of a game without playing it” argument reminds me that people don’t see games as art. It’s a medium built around personal engagement, that's what gameplay is, it’s what makes games what they are. Is it really that hard to acknowledge and respect that?

It's simple. Tank controls compliment games with shifting fixed camera angles. End of story. You lower player control to raise the cinematography. You either like it or you don't. But tank controls allowed us to have games with actual camera direction and still work the best.
Every time I see a post talking about how bad the RE1 remake is or the original games are compared to the Demakes because of controls, I think of this post.

Evil that is Resident. Not "Evil House". "Resident" is the adjective describing the "Evil", which is the noun. A 'resident evil' can be something like Jack the Ripper residing in London.
You can judge someone's English language comprehension by how they parse the phrase "resident evil".

I became Public Enemy number one of my favorite character of almost 21 years Leon S, Kennedy because i criticized his remakes and voiced my disagreement of his overuse to the point i still have people dislike me and comment hate under my post every now and then.

Boy, when i tell ya'll that Kingdom Hearts 2 was one of the GOATED PS2 games out there, i meant it. We all thought this was Kingdom Hearts 3 & we were seeing PS3 graphics & damn near EVERY WEEB GAMER was talking about the "Batman Suits" & who this menacing old guy was.
I don’t think a single person who watched Kingdom Hearts 2’s secret ending back in the day thought to themselves that the series should’ve at KH2. Even nowadays I still see new KH players, after watching The Gathering, eager to play the rest of the games.

Leaving Steam for the Xbox App should be a litmus test for how bad someone's decision-making skills really are πŸ˜‚
Octopath Traveler 0 will be the final game I play on Steam. After that, I'm going to terminate my account & just play everything on my Switch 2 or on the Xbox app. Thanks for the memories, but I've had enough.

Unfortunately this character has got to be the most generic design possible, with no color it's basically unrecognizable. But still cool

He died a year later at age 97 after his hiccuping stopped. Sounds like a terrible thing to deal with, but I imagine it’s probably something he and everyone around him just got used to.
13 June 1922. US citizen Charlie Osborne began a bout of hiccups. He hiccuped continuously from that day until 1990. According to the Guinness Book of World Records this is the longest bout of the hiccups ever recorded.

Those kind Leon fans don't know how it is to love Rebecca chambers. 1 game, 1 movie, partially in 1 game and another movie. Not really mentioned, despite being the brain behind most the cures πŸ’”.
Remember when Resident Evil didn't revolve round Leon S, Kennedy these people cannot cope with not having him in one game, imagine how Jill Valentine fans feel not having her in a title for 15 years

If you’re doing art in the hope of becoming an AAA game artist with a six-figure salary, you’re already fighting an uphill battle There are roughly 83,000 direct game industry employees in the United States. Concept artists, character artists, environment artists, animators, technical artists, VFX artists, UI artists, and other art-related roles likely account for only 15–25% of that workforce. That’s somewhere between 12,000 and 20,000 people To put that into perspective, that’s roughly the same number of people currently working as nuclear engineers in the entire country You’re trying to break into a profession that represents around 0.007% of the US workforce. Those are odds most gamblers wouldn’t take even on a good day And that’s before considering that many of the people currently working in the industry got in over a decade ago. They’re not above tribalism or gatekeeping, especially amid the devastating layoffs that have been sweeping through the industry You don’t need the approval of corporate executives or studio heads to make art. Your work doesn’t need to be attached to a big-name AAA IP to be good or meaningful. Stop trying to suck up to the people who will choose AI and cheap outsourcing over new talent every chance they get. They don’t care about you

If you were born in 1974 and don’t have any savings, retirement, or a home, you’re just straight up retarded, sorry.
I am 52 years old. I have been working since I was 15 years old. I have no savings, no retirement, and will never own a home before I die. And there is now a trillionaire.
