NCRST proudly represented Namibia at #Metascience2025 in London. Mr Kelvin Katukula joined global science leaders to advocate for research systems that reflect African realities and development priorities.
Last week, CIHR’s Alison Bourgon joined global leaders at #Metascience2025 in London, sharing how we’re advancing inclusive research excellence.
She discussed the importance of diverse knowledge and systems and CIHR's role in building Canada’s metascience capacity.

🧵What a fantastic event #Metascience2025 was! A remarkable three days, with more than 800 delegates from 65 countries.
On day 1, science minister Patrick Vallance warned against seeing curiosity-driven research as the “easiest thing to cut”.

I wonder if there was any reference to @michael_nielsen & @kanjun 's "A Vision of Metascience" in #metascience2025, since I believe that after 3 years, it still is the most elaborate piece that carries the spirit of metascience.
Hooray for poster #23 at #Metascience2025!

What do you think an RMP is? We’ve been talking about Reproducibility Management Plans (#RMPs) at #Metascience2025, but what do you think they are?
Let us know your pick & we’ll reveal how RMPs combine structure, transparency, and planning to bring reproducibility to the core of research.
At #Metascience2025, our @TIER2Project poster (#59) sits beside Yoriko Otomo’s Unconditional Life, a powerful juxtaposition that invites reflection.
What happens when care becomes a design principle, not an afterthought?
Reproducibility Management Plans (RMPs) bring care into research planning, embedding transparency, integrity, and reproducibility into the design of scientific work.
To turn that principle into practice, we use #ARGOS (argos.openaire.eu), a tool that supports the creation of structured, machine-actionable RMPs. It enables researchers to document decisions, connect outputs, and streamline planning in line with @OSTrails / #EOSC interoperability frameworks and common standards.
How is pasta making analogous to metascience? Ask @ilangur! Nice challenge for orgs to consider how well first principle approaches meet what they're trying to do; & how easy is it to introduce 'mutations' to those ways #Metascience2025
