🚨 Exciting talks in our research group! 🚨 We recently hosted two fantastic speakers sharing cutting-edge research in cybersecurity and IoT: 🔹 Dr. Mengmeng Ge introduced innovative ways to safeguard the Internet of Things. With billions of devices coming online, security challenges are everywhere, from vulnerable sensors to complex networks. Her talk explored three powerful approaches: - Security modelling to spot weaknesses. - Cyber deception to mislead attackers. - Moving target defense to keep adversaries guessing. 🔹 Dr. Etienne Borde presented his latest work from ARES 2025, focusing on improving Moving Target Defense with reinforcement learning. By simulating attacker/defender dynamics in CybORG-MTD, the work showed how AI agents can balance stronger security with system availability - a real challenge in practical defense. Huge thanks to both speakers for sharing their insights and sparking great discussions 👏.
