2, since you're here: 127/137 causes cli to crash at one point I had an auto restart but I let it run overnight, and it burned through all my tokens reloading the session. zsh ctrl-m acts like enter, so it doesn't start multiline. Which isn't sticky... though /mul -> tab works, when I remember.

Anyone else used to copy formulas into online renderers just to visualize them? This solves so many tiny annoyances. Curious if it's smooth with complicated stuff like multiline derivations!

Use leading() to refine the reading experience of multiline text. Tighter leading can fit more content, while looser leading can make text easier to read. → learnandcodewithenid.com/cou…

THE 7.8-MAGNITUDE quake that struck the southern Philippines on June 8 is expected to be a multiline claims event for (re)insurers on the island of Mindanao, albeit a persistent protection gap will limit insured losses to a small fraction of total economic damage,

@ATT So-called customer service somehow removed the multiline discounts on our business wireless bill causing it to go up 59%. Phone CS was useless. Any way to get an account manager like I used to have but ghosted me?

$LMND reminds me so much of $AMZN simple yet incredibly powerful strategy that continues to do wonders even today after 25 years of their humble beginnings. Greater selections ( multiline insurance products), cheaper price ( as low as $5 for renter insurance, 50% cheaper FSD EV insurance) and faster speed ( more than 50% claims auto settling using AI under 3 secs). This virtuous cycle is going to give for decades in future.

People of Pi! 55 releases in, Pi-Codex-Conversion is now at 2.0. Rust rewrite, PATH mode and other things. - Rewrite in Rust. Lifts and slightly edits Codex's native toolkit. TS is effectively an orchestrator/renderer. - PATH mode aka "just bash". No JSON-schema-defined tools, apart from exect write_stdin. Definitions live in system prompts, Gippity just calls them via exec. - This is Pi's internal PATH, doesn't add anything to your system. - Web_run and imagegen are now actual tool calls visible in Pi. - Better UI options because multiline exec commands were not showing up in the same aligned column. xD - Reshuffled /codex UI - should make more sense. Video walkthrough attached. I have since patched the apply_patch bug - as suspected it was returning the entire patch output back to the model which is completely unnecessary - it already knows how it called the tool. I've been using this over the past 3ish days with zero issues. Apologies for the sneeze. No, I am not re-recording because of the semi-failed run. Yes, I know my hair looks shite and uncontrolled. LOL. Final stats for the runs in input tokens, after the patch: pi exa web search - 45k pi-codex-conversion - 38k pi-codex-conversion-PATH - 34k This compounds. Get it here: pi install npm:@howaboua/pi-codex-conversion This version is a major rewrite. If you hit regressions, reinstall the last pre-rewrite build the command below and report the issue! Thank you. pi install npm:@howaboua/pi-codex-conversion@1.5.21 Repo: github.com/IgorWarzocha/howa… Happy clanking! CC: @badlogicgames @mitsuhiko

Fixes: • Goal workflows: multiline paste in /goal edit no longer submits early, idle auto-turns avoid Plan mode, goals stop auto-continuing after terminal failures • Forked threads preserve user-renamed titles instead of reverting to original first-prompt names • TUI streaming no longer adds extra blank space, cancelled prompts reopen with cursor at end for natural editing continuation • TUI config write failures show underlying causes for easier diagnosis of validation and read-only filesystem issues • Startup resilience: /usr/bin/bash support, shorter Linux proxy socket paths, pre-refresh of expired OAuth-backed MCP credentials • Workspace instruction loading accuracy improved for remote and symlinked workspaces Docs: • CLI README refreshed to remove stale guidance

Claude Code CLI 2.1.166 changelog: New features: • Added fallbackModel setting to configure up to three fallback models tried in order when the primary model is overloaded or unavailable; --fallback-model now also applies to interactive sessions • Added glob pattern support in deny rule tool-name position ("*" denies all tools); allow rules reject non-MCP globs, and unknown tool names in deny rules warn at startup Fixes: • Fixed a recurring "image could not be processed" error and extra token usage when an unprocessable image was sent in a session • Fixed remote sessions becoming permanently stuck when a brief backend disruption occurred during worker registration at startup • Fixed flickering in JetBrains IDE terminals (IntelliJ, PyCharm, WebStorm, etc.) on 2026.1 by enabling synchronized output • Fixed Shift non-ASCII characters (e.g. Shift ä → Ä) being dropped in terminals using the Kitty keyboard protocol (WezTerm, Ghostty, kitty) • Fixed PowerShell command validation occasionally hanging far past its time budget on Windows when a killed process's children held its output pipes • Fixed orphaned claude --bg-pty-host processes spinning at 100% CPU after the daemon dies while connected on macOS • Fixed voice mode requiring /login to clear a stale auth check after toggling /voice • Fixed managed settings with an invalid entry silently disabling enforcement of their remaining valid policies • Fixed managed-settings allowedMcpServers/deniedMcpServers predicates not matching when they use ${VAR} references • Fixed background agent sessions that entered a git worktree crash-looping with "No conversation found" when reopened from claude agents • Fixed duplicated thinking text in the Ctrl O transcript view while streaming • Fixed /doctor showing a contradictory failed "Not inside a remote session" check when run inside a remote session • Fixed the cursor sticking at the end of the first line when typing a multiline prompt in the claude agents dispatch and reply inputs • Fixed blank lines appearing between background agent rows in the task list on terminals without Unicode support Security/safety changes: • Hardened cross-session messaging: messages relayed via SendMessage from other Claude sessions no longer carry user authority — receivers refuse relayed permission requests, and auto mode blocks them • Claude Code now retries a turn once on the fallback model when the API rejects an unexpected non-retryable error; auth, rate-limit, request-size, and transport errors still surface immediately Other changes: • MAX_THINKING_TOKENS=0, --thinking disabled, and the per-model thinking toggle now disable thinking on models that think by default via the Claude API (3P providers unchanged) • claude update now announces the target version before downloading instead of going silent • claude agents: typing a URL into the list now filters to the session whose first prompt contained it Source: github.com/anthropics/claude…

There's so many UNIX utilities for all kinds of situations, but seems like nobody invented a repeating multiline strings remover useful for debug logs/parsed traffic dumps. As in: 1. Detect pattern 2. Condense into single output 3. print(...N lines above repeated X times...)
