Couldn’t agree more! Having trained with the great Dr Dillon- I frequently prescribe papaya enzymes to patients on long term SSAs, especially if they have mild EPI.
Also agree about BAD. So hard to tease that one out. Thanks much for re-sharing that beautiful paper. It’s a seminal resource for NETologists.

I had largely stopped using chromogranin A (CgA) but with the results of the CASPAR study, a methodologically sound study unlike most other NET marker studies, I may need to reconsider that. As all NETologists know, CgA is a very challenging marker. /2

Tough decisions to operate on those higher grade G2 and G3 NETs with lots heterogeneity in behaviour ➡️ suggestion that DAXX/ATRX can prognosticate risk of post-op recurrence
