The IYC represents Indigenous youth across our state on the issues that matter most to them and their communities. Members engage with local government, lead projects, and attend a Youth Summit. This is real leadership experience. If you're a Native American high school student in New Mexico, this is your seat at the table. This past week, I had the privilege of attending the Advance Native Political Leadership Summit, a gathering that was both inspiring and empowering. It was an incredible opportunity to connect with many influential Native political leaders and Native-led organizations who are making significant strides in their communities and beyond. Among the remarkable individuals I had the pleasure of meeting were Maxine Dibert, the Alaska State Representative and the only Native woman currently serving in the Alaska Legislature, and Althea Chino, the Co- Founder and Executive Director of Advance Native Political Leadership. Their dedication and passion for advocacy are truly inspiring, and I am honored to have received ANPL’s endorsement for my campaign. These connections and endorsements strengthen our mission and fuel our commitment to creating a brighter, more equitable future for all communities. Together, we can build a future that honors and uplifts every voice. I invite you to join us in this vital work. Your support can make a real difference. Whether through donating, volunteering your time, following our campaign on social media, or sharing our message with others, every action counts. Together, we can build a future that reflects our shared values and dreams. Let’s come together to shape a future that is inclusive, just, and promising for all. Thank you for being part of this journey with us. Visit DavinaForUT.com for more details. #DavinaForUtah #NativeLeadership #CommunityEmpowerment
