Dr. Vijeta, State Program Officer, Adolescent Health, SHSB, highlighted the importance of well-equipped facilities that ensure patient-centred and respectful care. Bimelesh Kumar Sinha, Deputy Director, Child Health, SHSB, emphasized facility readiness, accreditation, skilled staff, and adherence to quality standards. Dr. Anupam Singh, Consultant-Quality Assurance, SHSB, underscored the importance of the "golden hour" and early initiation of breastfeeding as critical interventions for newborn survival. Dr. Kalyan, stressed the need for neonatal care units in every facility and strengthening the capacity of ASHAs as labour room navigators at CHCs and district hospitals to bridge the gap between communities and health facilities.
