This is a BIG deal: @GrayHuze found Tyler’s car in N59906 GIS data. This raises many questions about the case… and the people investigating it, like @baroncoleman. Baron has had the data (via NearMap) for months, and he claims he scoured every inch of it. Why has he not reported this information?

This is an excellent thread, thanks for reposting @LmBubba. Since @nearmap is gatekeeping the data (anyone want to pitch in $10k?), this set of pics posted by @rosenwald_eric is the best I’ve seen to date.

The reason this tweet looks creative is because it packages a known pattern (satellite data API enrichment outreach automation) in a way that sounds novel. But when you scratch the surface, the roofing AI prospecting space has Roofs.Cloud, BuildFolio, Rooftops.ai, EagleView, Nearmap, and Aurora all doing variations of the same thing.

Nearmap is higher quality and more frequently updated. For example, on Google Earth, the club's new broadcast center (across Washington Rd) is still under construction, but on the screenshot above, it's completed and operational. That matters since Augusta is always doing renovations.

NearMap I believe was the service used.

The map data was collected on September 10, it is not possible to look at other days using the NearMap source.

If you want super high-resolution aerial imagery, check out @nearmap. They aren't going to be "on demand," but their imagery resolution is incomparable to that of satellites.
