Oh the irony of this article not being available #openaccess in a repository itself! I just used #OAButton to request the authors do this (thanks @oaworks!) Faculty Perceptions of Open Access Repositories: A Qualitative Analysis tandfonline.com/doi/abs/10.1…

I think the pieces are kinda there. The main thing we missing is machine readable mandates. We can then direct authors to IRs, Zenodo appropriate repositories, maybe using proven easy to use forns like @oabutton shareyourpaper.org..

Usually the publisher licences usually don't allow online access for alumni/guest users...out of the hands of the librarians/uni unfortunately! Kopernio kopernio.com/ or OAButton can help you find Open Access copies if they exist openaccessbutton.org/

We love Dissem.in! We think that the tools are optimized for different parts of a big complex problem, and we're glad they are taking on a bit we're not right now. Lots of differences in features / approach within in that :)

Yup. Generally we're only designed for the non-commercial repos like Zenodo and IRs. Could expand if required of course, but not of interest at this very moment.

Yeah the terms are just what we need to upload. The license is whatever the publisher requires, in this case that's cc-by-nc-nd.

Looking at @oabutton instantILL forms = ILL forms done right OA finding passing to link resolver. This reminds me a lot of buff.ly/2XZ3RDx (2011). really wish our industry started paying more attention to our forms.e.g. Insitutional repository/Data repository/CRIS etc

I still find it amazing how many times this oabutton foto of @pampel is used for everything oa related. I think i remember him taking the photo on #oaTage2010

@researchremix I did a comparison of OADOI, Dissemin, Core, OAButton, and Openaire APIs across a corpus of about 90K DOIs. I don't have a write-up I can share but here is some undocumented python code for fetching, caching, parsing, and graphing responses github.com/eocarragain/oapis
