1. In 2026, #AI is nearly visually perfect. The "glitch spotting" days are ending. Here is how to spot the few remaining flaws, but ALWAYS verify the source first.
2. Look at the Physics & Continuity - AI struggles with object permanence (e.g., a shirt pattern changing when they turn around, or shadows not matching the light source)
3. Watch the mouth when talking - If lips don’t match the words perfectly - especially “B”, “P”, “M” sounds - it’s suspicious.
4. Eyes & blinking - Real people blink naturally. AI either stares forever or blinks weirdly/too regularly.
5. Background glitches - Watch edges of hair, ears, neck - do they flicker or melt into the background? Classic AI mistake.
6. Ask one question: Does it feel “too perfect”? Too smooth skin, perfect lighting, no little mistakes = very often AI.
7. Bonus: if it’s too good to be true (celebrity saying crazy things), check comments for “C2PA” or “watermark” mentions
Note: AI improves monthly. Even if it passes these checks, verify the source.

Hi OSINT friends
I add "=orig" or "=large" to the URL of images I open from Tw/X to obtain the best quality version of the file. Very very useful.
Is there a similar trick for profile images on Link*dIn ( other socmedia)?

While reading about the infamous crooked lawyers Howe and Hummel I came across a reference to a con game that was new to me: the “sick engineer” scam. My fraud library had nothing and neither did Google, etc.
But a book text search and found the info.

Investigating an email?
Most people just do a search via email enumeration websites and that's it, but that's not enough.
Try doing a username search on the first part of the email. Sometimes, it gives some really cool stuff.
