One UI 8.5 feature you probably installed weeks ago and still haven't tried. Here's why you should. The feature: Photo Assist with Object Transfer Text Prompts Most users installed One UI 8.5, noticed the new UI, took a picture with a film filter, and moved on. Very few tried this: HOW TO ACCESS IT (takes 10 seconds): ▪ Open Gallery → tap any photo ▪ Tap the pencil edit icon ▪ Scroll down → tap "Photo Assist" ▪ OR: Apps screen → Creative Studio (new standalone app shortcut) WHAT TO TRY FIRST: ▪ Tap "Generate" → type "make the background a sunset" ▪ Watch Galaxy AI replace the background generatively in 4–6 seconds ▪ Try again: "remove the person in the background" → erases and fills ▪ Try: "transfer this person to another photo" → Object Transfer After receiving One UI 8.5, you may have been waiting for the Android 17-based One UI 9, but you shouldn't miss trying an epic feature on your Samsung Galaxy. The feature is an AI-powered Photo Assist that upgraded the Creative Studio. This is the feature that made iPhone users stop and say "wait, Android can do that?" It's been on your Galaxy for weeks. Have you tried it yet? 📸 #OneUI85 #PhotoAssist #GalaxyAI #CreativeStudio #Samsung #ObjectTransfer

📱 Galaxy S23 users in India are reporting an alarming issue after the latest One UI 8.5 update. Multiple owners say green and pink lines appeared on their displays shortly after updating, reigniting concerns about AMOLED screen failures. Some affected users have reportedly been quoted around ₹19,500 for a display replacement, with many devices now falling outside Samsung's goodwill repair program. Samsung continues to assess cases individually, and not every user is affected. However, the reports have sparked fresh debate over whether software updates can trigger underlying display defects, especially on aging hardware. Meanwhile, some users are urging caution before installing major updates, while pointing to competitors that offer extended support for similar display issues. #Samsung #GalaxyS23 #OneUI85 #SamsungIndia #GreenLineIssue #PinkLineIssue #AMOLED #Android #TechNews #GalaxyS23Ultra

Samsung has started rolling out the June 2026 security update with One UI 8.5 for the Galaxy S25 FE in South Korea, marking the first phase of the update's release. The new update focuses on improved security, stability, and overall user experience, giving S25 FE owners the latest software enhancements from Samsung. As is usually the case, the rollout is beginning in Samsung's home market before expanding to other regions. If you're using a Galaxy S25 FE outside Korea, you likely won't have to wait much longer, as the global rollout is expected to begin in the coming days. Have you received the update yet? Let us know what changes you've noticed. #Samsung #GalaxyS25FE #OneUI85 #OneUI #SamsungUpdate #GalaxyUpdates #Android

Will One UI 8.5 slow down your older Galaxy phone? The answer is actually no. People always ask this when a major update drops. Here's the real answer. One UI 8.5 includes significant kernel-level optimizations from Android 16. While older hardware may not support every Agentic AI feature due to NPU limitations, the overall UI speed and animation smoothness are expected to improve across all supported devices. Wccftech What actually happens on older devices with One UI 8.5: ▪ UI animations: smoother (kernel-level optimization, not just CSS tweaks) ▪ App launch speed: faster on all supported devices ▪ Memory management: improved background process handling ▪ Battery efficiency: Android 16 QPR2 improves doze and standby What older devices DON'T get (not a slowdown — just absent): ▪ NPU-intensive Galaxy AI features (older chips lack the hardware) ▪ Advanced Audio Eraser (S24 only due to NPU requirement) ▪ Full Creative Studio (hardware-gated) The one risk: first 2–3 days after installing any major update — battery drain while the system re-indexes apps. This is normal. Give it 48 hours. After 48 hours → your Galaxy S23 or A55 should feel faster than before One UI 8.5. Update with confidence. ✅ #OneUI85 #Samsung #GalaxyPerformance #Android16 #GalaxyS23

Hi @SamsungMobile, I'm using both the Samsung S25 Ultra and S24 Ultra. After updating both devices to One UI 8.5, I noticed an issue with the Ads settings. The option to reset or delete the Advertising ID appears to be missing and no longer works. I used to manage it before the update. Is this a bug or an intentional change? #OneUI85 #GalaxyS25Ultra #GalaxyS24Ultra @SamsungIndia
