The 17th United Nations Conference on the Rights of the World Community with Disabilities came to an end with high hopes for the future. Sri Lanka got the chairmanship of the 18th and 19th international conferences planned to be held in 2025 and 2026, which would definitely be an honor we received as a country. On behalf of the Parliamentary Caucus for Persons with Disabilities, I convey my gratitude to the Special Representative to the United Nations, Ambassador Mr. Mohan Peiris @SLUNNewYork, Deputy Ambassador Mr. Sugeeswara Gunaratne, the @mfa_srilanka, led by Minister @alisabrypc, and the Ministry of Social Welfare, led by President @RW_UNP, the Disability Organizations Joint Front, @UNDPSriLanka , the @NDI the @UN, and its General Secretary, Mr. António Guterres, for their commitment to make this a massive success. අද, (ජූනි 11) ලෝක දින දර්ශනයට අපූරු දවසක් වුණා. ආබාධ සහිත ප්‍රජාව ගේ නියෝජිතයන් සහ ලොව පුරා රාජ්‍ය නායකයන්, මහජන නියෝජිතයන් මෙන්ම තානාපතිවරුන්ගෙන් එක්සත් ජාතීන්ගේ නිව්යෝර්ක් නුවර මූලස්ථානය පිරී ඉතිරී ගියේ ශීලාචාර ලෝකයක අනාගතය පිළිබඳ බලාපොරොත්තු ඉහළ නංවමින්. ශ්‍රී ලංකා පාර්ලිමේන්තුවේ ආබාධ සහිත සහෝදර ප්‍රජාව වෙනුවෙන්ම නිර්මාණය වූ සංසදයේ සභාපතිවරයා විදිහට මටත් මේ දිනය ඓතිහාසික සිහිවටනයක් වුණා. එක්සත් ජාතීන් ගේ සංවිධානයේ ශ්‍රී ලංකා නිත්‍ය නියෝජිත, හිටපු අගවිනිසුරු මොහාන් පිරිස් මැතිතුමා ගේ පරිණත සහ බහුශ්‍රැත නායකත්වය, ජාත්‍යන්තර ප්‍රජාව තුළ අපගේ හඬට ගෙන දුන්නේ විශාල වටිනාකමක් සහ ගෞරවයක්. නියෝජ්‍ය තානාපති සුගීශ්වර ගුණරත්න මහතා මුලසුන උසුලන සැසියකින් අද විශේෂ සාකච්ඡාව ආරම්භ වීම ශ්‍රී ලංකාවට තවත් අපූරු වටිනාකමක් එකතු කළා. එජා සංවිධානයේ සභාපති සහ නියෝජ්‍ය මහලේකම් අමීනා මොහමඩ් මහත්මිය ප්‍රමුඛ මහා මණ්ඩල නිලධාරීන් මෙන්ම ලොව පුරා රටවල් 184ක නියෝජිතයන් සමඟ තව දින දෙකක් මහා මණ්ඩලය තුළ ගත කරන කාලය, නිසැකවම මානව වංශ කතාවේ ශිෂ්ඨ සම්පන්න අනාගතයක් වෙනුවෙන් කරනු ලබන ස්වර්ණමය ආයෝජනයක් බව අවිවාදිත සත්‍යයක්. හෙට, (ජූනි 12) මට ජීවිතයේ විශේෂ දවසක්. ඒ, ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ආබාධ සහිත සහෝදර ජනතාව ගේ "නිහඬ හඬ" බිලියන අටක මානව වර්ගයා වෙත සන්නිවේදනය කිරීමේ වගකීම මා වෙත පැවරී ඇති නිසා. #DullasAlahapperuma #SriLanka #peoplewithdisabilities #disabilityawareness #disabilityrights #ParliamentaryCaucusforPersonswithDisabilities #PCIPD #RightsofPersonswithDisabilities #UnitedNations

A special discussion was held in parliament last Friday with the Minister of Education, Hon. @SusilPremajaya1, about the various difficulties faced by children with special educational needs as well as solving the serious problems faced by their teachers and the relevant school system. The discussion led by the Parliamentary Caucus for the Integration of the Disabled Community was attended by representatives of disabled organizations led by DOJF Chairperson Rasanjali Pathirage, Tikiri Jayawardena, and @NDI Institute Adviser Shyama Salgado. It was also agreed to hold a final discussion at the @mohe_21st on July 2nd, with the participation of all parties. The Kilinochchi District Conference of the district workshop series conducted by the Parliamentary Caucus for Persons with Disabilities, (PCIPD) was successfully held at the Kilinochchi District Secretariat Workshop last Monday 13th. The co-chairman of the forum, @MaduraVithanaMP represented the forum with me & the DOJF representatives led by the chairperson, Mrs. @RasanjaliPathi1 , the @NDI representatives led by Mrs. Shyama Salgado, the representatives of the parliamentary committees and the communication department also contributed with dedication. Northern Province Social Services, Ministry Secretary, Mr. Vagish, Kilinochchi District Secretary, Mr. Muralidaran and all the regional secretaries and all the relevant government officials who were invited had joined this occasion. The following major decisions were taken here to empower the community of Kilinochchi district, where 11% of the total population is represented by the disabled community. 1, The establishment of a steering Committee to support the District Coordination Committee under the District Governor 2, To establish the respective steering committee headed by the divisional secretary in parallel in each regional secretariat division. 3, Inclusion of the subject related to the disabled community in the agenda of every coordination committee led by the political authority. 4, Obtaining government land for the establishment of a supplementary school for children with special needs. Mr. Ranjith Chandrasekhara, a distinguished Sri Lankan living in Britain, has expressed his desire to provide financial support for its construction. 5, Calling the attention of the Honorable President and the Minister of Education for the immediate empowerment of Kilinochchi Vocational Training Center (VTA), which is currently inactive. 6, Collecting and updating data related to the disabled community. 7, Rapid construction of necessary access facilities for admission of the disabled community to government institutions leading hospitals in the Northern Province. The honorable gratitude of the Parliamentary caucus goes to the District Secretary and the NDI Institute for providing all necessary facilities and the DOJF Institute for coordinating all the disabled community. Ma inquietante e GRAVISSIMO è che il tutto fu fatto con l'appiggio del sovietico Napolitano, tuttora impunito che si aggira in parlamento invece che in galera, e che il PCIPD in perfetto stile comunista ha inculcato nelle teste dei compagni che l'Italia era in default!!

Nessun cittadino ha eletto un giudice, un magistrato; fate parte di una casta che si autocandida e si autocontrolla grazie ad una demenziale costituzione, una casta che è stata al servizio dal 1992 del PCIPD della sinistra NON DEL CITTADINO. Basta, è urgente una profonda riforma
