The Commission's final report does not contain any info about an elected Public Advocate (see below) & proportional ranked choice voting (PRCV).
The Commission narrowly voted down even referencing these reforms in the report while multiple Commissioners in support were absent.

RCV exists in many places, including Ireland. It's beyond the testing stage. It works well and certainly better than the status quo. Combine it with multi-winner districts and we've got PRCV and no more gerrymandering. Personally, I see this as best:

Gotta be honest: I really dislike how FairVote terms have taken over election methods language. "PRCV" is just newspeak for STV, Single Transferrable Vote. There are lots of ranked methods. Using the same acronym for all of them creates ambiguity and confusion.

The Commission has moved 7-3 to adjourn (Fuentes, Mac, Thomas opposed). Their discussion of mayoral powers; expanding Council to 27 CMs w/ 9 multi-member districts and PRCV; and creating an elected Office of the Public Advocate will be moved to a future meeting.

TGEV/PRCV is an interesting example.
Much of the NTD was deleted, which led to loss of sialic acid binding. Virus became respiratory - but far milder.

Ex-TGEV changed tropism to respiratory tract, now named PRCV, isolated 1984 in Belgium.
Sc2-WT spike muts called Omicron (especially the BA.2*) now replicate in the upper airways instead of the lung.
