This morning, I was delighted to join the Church Wellesley Neighbourhood Association and Councillor Moise for another placemaking project in Toronto Centre. We greened up Dundonald and Yonge Street with new plants and healthy mulch. Plants are vital to urban environments since they act as natural infrastructure in reducing heat island effects and improving air quality by filtering pollutants. Not to mention, they invoke pride and joy for many. Thank you to the @baycloverhill Community Association for their sponsorship.
