We thought it would be gift to high school fans to feature one of the best high school baseball teams of the 2000’s. The organiser behind a campaign calling for the legislation of special educational needs (SEN) after the age of 19 has met with the Minister of Health, Mike Nesbitt at Stormont.
Alma White, who started the Caleb’s Cause NI campaign back in 2024, wishes to see dedicated legislation in Northern Ireland to protect special educational needs pupils over the age of 19.
Ms White says the Department of Health says the legislation will not be looked at as "unfortunately they have run out of time."

More emphasis should be put on services after 18. Our young people stay in children's services for a very short time of their lives.We campaigned 10yrs ago for post19 services & now families are still campaigning & will be in another 10yrs from here.
