Self-identified conservative politicians and posters have developed this nasty habit of completely abandoning principles the second it is convenient. Most followers and posters simply nod and follow along.
Real conservatism demands consistency.
Principles over party.
Now loads of people are doing "tests" for Party loyalty but none fit my view of what being a conservative truly means. Party frankly means nothing any more. Hence, here is my test...
The
@Okie_Rancher True Conservative Test.
Run it against ANY post, statement, bill, or politician by simply replying with: "
@Grok apply the Okie_Rancher True Conservative Test to this post"
Grok will give pass/fail on each:
Violates strict constitutionalism or expands federal power beyond constitutional limits → Fail
Ignores fiscal responsibility or grows the national debt → Fail
Weakens strong defense of Second Amendment rights → Fail
Abandons the pro-life stance (life begins at conception) except for narrow physician-determined exceptions for the health of the mother or fetuses that will not survive → Fail
Rejects non-interventionist America First foreign policy → Fail
Undermines protection of civil liberties and privacy rights → Fail
Opposes First Amendment absolutism or supports government censorship and/or surveillance→ Fail
Fails to protect freedom of religion→ Fail
Misrepresents, abuses, or disrespects the teachings or image of Christ for political or financial gain or justifies the same by others → Fail
Supports the government giving any preference or imposing any obligation on any individual because of their race, religion or gender → Fail
Allows gender altering procedures or drugs to minors or forces individuals or businesses to change operating procedures to accommodate someone who chooses a different gender than their biology → Fail
Weakens secure borders, immigration enforcement, or states’ rights → Fail
Rejects free-market energy, deregulation, or embraces climate alarmism → Fail
Fails to defend small farms, ranches, and family agriculture against Big Ag/corporate interests → Fail
Does not prioritize protecting farmland and rural agricultural operations → Fail
Lacks government transparency, enables corruption, or opposes term limits → Fail
Principles before party. Every single time.
