2. Це просто стилістичний прийом, правила немає, не обов’язково. Вжив його, тому що в таких випадках ми здебільшого повторюємо «якщо». Спробуйте проговорити вголос із повторенням і без нього. Мені природніше звучить із ним. Цілком імовірно, що комусь — без.

1. У творі «Near and Far» дівчинка зустріла міжгалактичну гусінь-мандрівницю. Оскільки не вказано стать гусені, я відштовхувався від родового слова «гусінь» — вона. Звісно, можна було б і як у «Алісі…», але Керрол чітко прописав стать гусені там.

Прикол. Я переміг у конкурсі перекладу від @ProZcom № 33. Треба було перекласти частину оповідання «Близько й далеко» від Лорел Гансон ("Near and Far" by Laurel Hanson).

I am with you, María. I did it during the first months of the pandemic after many years of using it. Never got any work from it, but the Kudos and the forum were a great source of reliable information. Then it became what it is now, a source of low paid jobs and bad practices.
