Life in a busy week for a Lord Lieutenant - It started meeting & welcoming my new Lord Lieutenant Cadets & giving Meritorious Service Awards to adult volunteers without whom the cadets experience would be impossible @CambsACF; Attending the 10th Anniversary of @form_future; Meeting The ProbationService; Hosting a Lieutenancy dinner in Ely; Opening @cambschamber B2B event in Peterborough & encouraging their fab companies to apply for @TheKingsAwards; Presenting Long Service medals @CambsCops - one was a different medal for service in St Helena ( a first); attending a unique business & education garden party @Ely_Cathedral; writing 15 letters to congratulate our great #KingsBirthdayHonours recipients; finally on Sunday I went to Littleport to a garden party for @CamSAR999 to say thank you to long standing fund raisers.
