CRY FROM THE HEART: I’m Hurting for My Future
I’ll be straight with you: this morning, I’m hurting for my country. And I’m hurting for my future.
We’re just days away from voting, and I see what’s coming... and I’m scared. Not scared of change — scared that nothing will change, that we’ll stay stuck with the same crew of incompetents, and that our generation will keep paying the price while others sleepwalk through it all.
I’ve had enough.
I’m fed up of boomers voting out of habit, out of fear, out of comfort — as if the world still revolves around their paid-off mortgage, government pension, and cushy retirement plan.
Disclaimer: When I say "boomer", I’m not talking about an age group — I’m talking about a mindset. One that puts itself first, votes only for its interest, and fears anything that moves.
But that’s just half the problem.
The real danger? Us. The youth. When we check out. When we don’t vote. When we say, “It doesn’t matter anyway.”
That’s exactly the lie the system wants you to believe. And too many fall for it.
But it’s a damn lie.
We’re the generation with the most to lose:
Home ownership access? A joke.
National debt? A bottomless pit we’ll be stuck filling.
Cost of living? Blowing up faster than our paychecks.
And what are the Liberals under
@MarkJCarney offering?
- Another $250 billion in debt.
- Zero reform. Zero change. Zero fiscal responsibility.
- Just another spending spree disguised as a plan.
Meanwhile, the Conservatives are pledging to:
- Give you back your economic freedom
- Cut the deficit by 70%
- Slash the waste of your tax dollars
- Decentralize power and give freedom back to the people
It’s not perfect. Nothing is. But damn it — it’s common sense!
So I’m talking to you, if you’re 18 to 35 and thinking of skipping the vote:
If you don’t vote, you’re giving up on your own future. And on the future of your kids. And your future grandkids.
And to the elders out there:
Can you please vote for something other than fear, just this once? Think of your grandchildren. Your great-grandchildren. Think of what your vote could mean for their future.
And if this hits home:
If you’re a young person who votes and gives a damn — this post isn’t aimed at you.
If you’re a senior who cares about future generations — you’re our ally.
But for everyone else?
Wake up. Go vote.
On April 28th, your future is on the ballot.

ALT Three generations — a grandmother, a mother, and a baby — in silhouette against a dark blue backdrop. The caption reads: “And if we cared about the future generations?” A powerful call to vote, to protect what comes next.
