I was honoured to be a part of the 58th convocation ceremony of Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat (@vnsgu1965) that celebrated not only academic excellence of the students but also their hard work, dedication and discipline. "Knowledge is the way to Progress” Being invited at @sburanchi, was both an honour and deeply enriching experience. Universities are not only institutions that give #education but are places where ideas form, perspectives build, and students are made ready for the future. Interacting with the students, I was reminded of the Gujarati saying, “વિદ્યાલય એ વિચારધારાનો પાયો છે” which means that a university is the foundation of thoughts. From the very beginning, the #Students made the session lively and meaningful. During the interaction, I shared some of the principles that have guided me through life and work. One of it being that to achieve #success, trust is one of the important factors, trust in God’s plan and #trust in our people. True leadership isn’t measured in profits but by taking care of the employees. When employees feel a part of the organisation they give their best. Such interactions are always a learning experience, offering perspectives that encourage #learning. It was a meaningful opportunity to engage with the students at @dcindore on the topic of Ethics, Dharma and Enterprise: Navigating Modern Businesses with Integrity" organised by Brhat | Bṛhat | बृहत्. I have always believed that, “ધર્મ વધે તો ધન વધે; ધન વધે તો મન વધે; મન વધે તો માન વધે એમ વધત વધત વધ જાય” (Dharma increases then wealth increases; wealth increases then heart increases; heart increases then respect increases and ultimately everything increases). From my own journey, I have learned that companies built on #honesty, #integrity, and #transparency not only sustain in the long run but also earn trust, and trust becomes their strongest foundation. For any company the employees are their valuable asset similarly for me everyone at @SRKdotOne is a family member which makes us who we are and what we stand for. Interacting with entrepreneurs and meeting some great and brilliant young minds is something that I have always enjoyed and appreciated doing. Similarly, I had the privilege of interacting with entrepreneurs at @dcindore, during the #YEF Samvaad organised by @brhat_in. There is no age to #learning and I have always been eager to learn from anyone irrespective of their age. What I like about the present generation is their ability to lead, to face any challenge with courage and the ability to do what is right. With faith in God and trust in hard work we have always done #business ethically and transparently. In the foundation of any business lies #honesty and anything built on the pillars of truth and honesty will stand strong and withstands the test of time and that built on the short cuts and unethically will ultimately fade. It was a pleasure to share my thoughts on the timeless importance of #ethics and #values in #Leadership and business along with the lessons that I learnt from my life’s journey, at the Ranjan Kumar Memorial Lecture Series jointly organised by the Department of Management Sciences (@DoMS_IITKanpur) & Centre for Indian Knowledge System (SIKSA), @IITKanpur, under the Golden Jubilee Celebration of DoMS. Ethics and values are not just principles,  they are the foundation upon which trust, relationships, and lasting #success are built. Since childhood I have been taught to live an honest and a truthful life. In my journey, from a small village of Dudhala in Saurashtra to establishing @SRKdotOne, I have experienced that business without ethics may bring short-term gains, but it cannot earn long-term success because the foundation for any strong business is honesty and transparency. True leadership lies in serving others, our employees, community and creating an environment where people feel respected, valued, and inspired.
