The one’s saying “you train on vacation/at conferences & you don’t drink?” will be asking you for health help & advice & in some cases, a job, down the line. No need to boast your regimen. Always be generous in offering them to join you to learn at any stage.

People arrive to the health pipeline at different stages & stick to it if/when they are ready. What has changed are the norms for drinking and sleep and now, people with both cognitive and physical jobs are tending to their health and it does give them more peak output hours.

Hands down @AbudBakri MD is the most informed human alive on the topic of clinical use of & history & data & experimentation w/peptides… (not talking insulin here but yes GLPs, BPC, GHK, Pinealon, epitalon, MT, GH secretagouges, etc). PEPTIDES MASTERCLASS:

How weird is it that Pinealon does not come from the pineal but epithalon does. Learned that one from @AbudBakri Peptide lore and nomenclature is a mess!

It’s going to be tough for the pro GLP but otherwise peptides averse (notice I did not say “skeptics”) to counter MDs like Abud because his cohort are aggregating and splitting off from “bio hackers & wellness” to form the next gen MDs that the public will follow. Mark my words.

Which is not to say the MD community should split on this. What would be safest & most effective for the public would be a committee with a range of stances. This would allow people to assess their own risk benefit on a backdrop of valid arguments.

Mild sleep deprivation drives significant increases in hunger, but differentially in men versus women. It makes men release more pro-hunger signals. In women it inhibits satiety via reductions in GLP. This has key implications for how to counter it.

OK @AbudBakri let’s just say I have a friend flying to EU from CA for 21 day work stint & wanted to explore (confirmed clean) epithalon & bpc use, what should I tell them? Hypothetically of course. No obligation to respond, also of course.

The older I get, the more I realize the power of always having something on the calendar you're excited about. It can really be anything. Difficult physical challenge, big project, fun trip, ambitious goal, whatever. It creates energy and gets you through the lows. Life hack.

I’m very familiar w/the mouse paper that motivated this, mechanistic rationale and the hurdles for it to “work”… but if it does, it’s historic as retinal neurons are CNS (effectively “brain”). Best of luck @davidasinclair & team. nature.com/articles/d41586-0…

Tinnitus is very common, also the No. 1 military disability & costs $1B per year to taxpayers. In most cases it’s preventable. It happens because of neuroplasticity gone awry. Neuroplasticity is also how you fix it. Dr. Michael Kilgard on @hubermanlab

Magnesium Threonate (or Bisglycinate) supplementation can help protect against hearing loss. Also the best treatments for tinnitus. Discussed on the Huberman Lab podcast out now with Dr Stankovic MD, PhD, of @Stanford (She is Chair of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery).
