Curious if VBA is still relevant? It was removed from our syllabus in school and QBASIC was introduced in its place.

I should! I have zero experience in coding outside of QBasic on a 1980s tandy and basic html/css because of myspace/neopets.

My younger self knew how to load Gorilla in Qbasic. He would be disgusted with my current progress.

I think my grandmother taught my mother qbasic. I went to your website, you wrote the book on Drupal. That's cool.

It has to be C . I am well aware of its issues, but it is what I am comfortable in. Variants of the Basic languages fills me with a weird mix of nostalgia and irritation. QBasic was my first language, but all versions of Basic feel clunky to me now.

Depends how far you want to go back. I was a QBasic dev, then tcl/tk, perl, bash, C, and so on.
