Essentially, Detroit Crossrail to send multiple regional rail lines thru the heart of downtown and thru-running out of Michigan Central. Also is a nice easy-west counterpart of QLine & the People Mover.

Detroit doesn’t necessarily look at the qline as perk but it would definitely work in downtown Dallas. Especially with parking.

The QLine in Detroit is a 3.3-mile streetcar along Woodward Ave that’s free, battery-powered, and privately funded. It’s helped spark a full corridor revival in downtown Detroit. #Dallas has a dead zone right next to City Hall just waiting for this kind of vision. Expending the Dallas Street car into downtown would be a good start. The opportunity is there.
