You are actually encouraged to disclose such, especially if you might need some sort of reasonable accommodation. If she works for a big corporate, i suggest she speak to a diversity and inclusion person or employee relations.

It was a very dark time especially because I was kind of raw dawging it (undiagnosed) and thinking that maybe I'm just depressed 😪
Please don't do this over people who don't give care about you. If they continue to misunderstand autism and do not make accommodations for you even after going to HR, you can go to @deptoflabour and Autism South Africa for help. Our constitution protects us.
Please just keep waking up and go and be having a day in the sunshine if corporate bamboozle language is all too much. I dont think it only fries autistic brains. I think it is made to fry human brains and hog the gains.
i literally told the people in my department that please don't hint, don't be strategic, etc when talking to me because i'm gonna miss what you wanted and it won't be on purpose 😔
