Under its corporate social responsibility initiative, REC Ltd has committed financial assistance of ₹1.40 crore for the implementation of the ‘Green Innovator Immersive Learning Lab’ project in 10 government schools of Karnal District, Haryana. The project will be executed by I-Hub Foundation for Cobotics (IHFC). The Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) in this regard was signed today at the REC Corporate Office, Gurugram, between Shri Arun Kumar Tyagi, Executive Director (CSR), REC Limited and Shri Ashutosh Dutt Sharma, CEO, IHFC (IIT Delhi). Shri Manohar Lal Lays Foundation Stone for 1000-Seater Auditorium in UP, Supported by REC Limited’s CSR Initiative of ₹7.02 Crore Siddharth Nagar, Uttar Pradesh: Shri Manohar Lal, Hon'ble Minister of Power & Minister of Housing and Urban Affairs, laid the foundation stone for a state-of-the-art 1000-seater Community Auditorium, in Siddharth Nagar, Uttar Pradesh. The Auditorium is being funded by REC Limited, a Maharatna CPSU and a leading NBFC under the Ministry of Power, and other CPSEs under the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives. The foundation stone-laying ceremony was attended by senior officials of all contributing CPSEs, alongside enthusiastic local residents who expressed optimism about the project’s potential to energize the district’s cultural landscape. The construction of this 1000-seater auditorium is expected to be completed within a stipulated timeframe, ensuring that the district soon benefits from a modern, inclusive space for artistic and cultural expression.
