RIP Riley ๐Ÿ˜ฅ Riley Townsend, from Ashfield, who played for Kirkby Colts FC & @Terversal FC tragically took his own life aged 12, leaving his family and the wider community completely devastated. 12-year-old Riley had been diagnosed with ADHD and autism and was struggling, he was described as "polite and kind" but had "had enough" and took his own life on Sunday, September 1. The day after his death, a GoFundMe was launched to help his family cover funeral expenses. (Link in comments) Fundraiser organisers Jodie Draycott and Abi Hill said: โ€œHis parents are afraid they canโ€™t afford to give him the send off he deserves, so we are asking people to find it in their hearts to help this family through this very painful time.โ€ Our thoughts and prayers go out to Riley's parents, family, club and teammates. My heart broke reading this, how can a 12 Yr old boy think that life isn't worth living. There really is to much hate going on in the world right now. We need to do better so our children feel better and that there life means something. Thoughts with the family ๐Ÿ’”๐Ÿ’” #RIPRiley
