Yes, I remember the realityOS rumors. I believe references date back to 2021 or 2022. xrOS was a late 2022 change. It seemed very set to be the name, that many WWDC23 sessions still call it xrOS. One of the sessions mentioned the xrOS name like 40 times.

It actually named realityOS before xrOS since this Sonoma build was a late 2022~early 2023 thing
