How do you bring scientific knowledge to the people who need it most? As we celebrate 20 years of the CEBC, we're honored to share reflections from Haluk Soydan, Professor at the University of Southern California and a member of the CEBC Scientific Panel since the beginning. For two decades, Dr. Soydan has witnessed the CEBC's evolution from an innovative idea into a trusted resource that helps bring research into practice for child welfare professionals, families, and researchers. In this anniversary video, he reflects on the CEBC's role in making evidence-based knowledge accessible, actionable, and impactful—not only in California, but around the world. Thank you, Dr. Soydan, for your longstanding contributions to the CEBC and for helping advance the use of research to support children and families. 🎥 Watch his story below and join us in celebrating 20 years of the CEBC. youtube.com/shorts/S5SEoVX_a… #CEBC20 #ChildWelfare #EvidenceBasedPractice #ImplementationScience #ResearchToPractice #ChildFamilyWellBeing

#motivationMonday Meaningful collaboration happens when educators and research practitioners come together with a shared focus on student impact.💥 I truly enjoyed spending time with the inspiring minds at the University of Florida College of Education & @UF_CSEveryone for National AI Literacy Day—listening, learning, and engaging with people who are doing the hard but important work of creating meaningful change in K-12 schools. Our conversations centered on what it really takes to move research into practice, uncover what schools need most, and design solutions and professional learning experiences that lead to effective implementation and stronger outcomes for students. It was especially exciting to hear tech impact stories about #SharkAI and classroom simulations being used to strengthen media literacy, deepen math learning, and spark student interest in #cybersecurity. This kind of work reminds me that when innovation is grounded in real classroom needs, research can become a powerful driver of opportunity, engagement, and future readiness for every learner. #AILiteracy #EdTech #K12Education #ResearchToPractice #FutureOfLearning #CybersecurityEducation @fetc #MediaLiteracy #UniversityOfFlorida UF Lastinger Center for Learning Shaunté Duggins, Ph.D. christina cornwell jamie Dale Jeremy Waisome, Ph.D. Pavlo "Pasha" Antonenko
