🚨 🇦🇪 FINANCIAL HUB SHAKEUP: GLOBAL BANKS EVACUATE DUBAI OFFICES AFTER IRAN THREATS
Major firms including Citi, Standard Chartered, Deloitte, and PwC are evacuating or closing offices in Dubai’s financial district (DIFC) and telling staff to work from home after threats from Iran targeting U.S. and Israeli-linked economic interests across the Gulf.
HSBC has also shut branches in Qatar amid the same warnings.
The moves come as the U.S.-Israel conflict with Iran enters its second week, with Iranian strikes recently reported near Dubai International Airport and other regional locations.
Multiple companies in the DIFC are taking precautionary measures as security concerns rise in one of the Gulf’s most important financial hubs.
