🚀 We’re excited to spotlight women selected through the Wetech Community to participate in the Heirs Technologies’ (@Heirs_Tech) Supplementary Technical Engineering Program (STEP) by i-Academy (@i_academy_org): Ifeoma Medebem, Adeola Olanrewaju, and Chiemeriwo Tony-Ubah! Out of 300 applicants, these women earned their place by joining a cohort of 46, where they spent 6 intensive weeks mastering CompTIA Network and CompTIA A Core 2, solving real-world problems, receiving mentorship from industry leaders, and collaborating on innovative projects. This first STEP cohort is a major milestone in empowering women in tech, and we’re proud to have been part of their journey. We also had the pleasure of hearning from the inspiring team at Heirs Technologies, including Ivy Ikpeme-Mbakwem (VP, i-Academy) and Mercy Ajiboye (Programs Coordinator, i-Academy). The enterprise needed a washing #facility for the crushed #plastics, and throughout the whole year, we have been #preparing this project. This year, four of us are here to #build this washing machine. While #collaborating with the company ground #team, we learn how to practically #solve problems rather than the theory studied.
