Concluding SWAT4HCLS 2023 with a keynote from @FrankVanHarmele on “Combining knowledge graphs with machine learning, with examples from healthcare and life sciences” #swat4ls#swat4hcls
We are proud of @VasileiouZoe, Georgios Meditskos, Stefanos Vrochidis & Nick Bassiliades (@CERTHellas & @Auth_University) who presented their research on an explainable intervention prediction for trauma patients in 1-min flash presentations at @SWAT4HCLS 2023 Conference #SWAT4LS
How can we use SPARQL to help deciphering the functions of the ~1500 human genes that remain uncharacterized? Happy to exchange ideas at my poster U-2 at #SWAT4LS 2023 Basel ! @hupo_org@ISBSIB@SWAT4HCLS
En route to the 2023 #SWAT4LS meeting in Basel. Check out the program and ping me if you are around and would like to meet the @waltelab crowd. swat4ls.org/
Thanks to the @SWAT4LS organisers for asking me to speak this year. Especially as they asked 3 times before I could go. Great questions from the audience. Ping me if you are interested in fair vocabulary features.
Great panel discussion on #open agricultural data @godanSec#SWAT4LS. Is semantic web really useful for an average small farmer in the world? Yes, understanding the local agriculture, climate change etc. is crucial, and quality global reference data & shared understanding is key.
Nice visualization of the key domains in @HL7#BRIDG. As Hugh Glover explains, #FHIR is an object model, not an information model. However BRIDG is a big beast to work with in practice... mostly used for translations between models. #SWAT4LS
