SDR bootcamps are a waste of time.
If I were trying to break into my first tech job (and crush quota), the last thing I'd do is join a bootcamp.
Hard truth, but most of those programs are money-grabs trying to take advantage of desperate, aspiring sellers.
Don't believe me?
Talk to some of the "graduates" who joined one of these programs — only to still be looking for work 12 months later.
Two of the biggest bootcamp staffing orgs recently went bankrupt and shut down. There aren't enough open jobs to place all of these candidates.
Don't get me wrong, there are some solid groups (Shift Group, SalesOrg, and maybe a few more), but most of you would be better off cold calling hiring managers and landing your first gig that way.
Save your money.
Save your time.
PS
I've interviewed plenty of candidates who were a part of a bootcamp.
Most of them sucked and obviously were taught outdated info.
