📢 New York MUST protect Haitian home care workers! We joined with our allies in Little Haiti last Friday to uplift two demands: protect TPS holders from ICE and deportation and pass state legislation to uplift and protect home care workers. Haitian immigrants are valued community members, and they are essential to our communities and NYC’s home care industry, caring for elderly and disabled neighbors, showing up every day to provide the personal assistance that allows New Yorkers to remain in their homes. NY’s home care industry was already on the edge before the current administration started dismantling immigration protections. We stand together in demanding fair wages, accountability, and full protection for workers. With @nychange @thenyic @domesticworkers @domesticworkers @BCID_Change @CID_NY @BKBPReynoso

🚨 PROTECT TPS 🚨 Today, the Supreme Court is hearing arguments that could impact 1.3 million people. TPS holders are part of our communities, raising families, contributing to our economy, and building their lives here. Ending TPS would mean family separation, economic harm, and real human consequences. #ProtectTPS #SaveTPS #TPS @HispanicCaucus @FWDus

For some good labor news New York City is Close to Abolishing 24-hour Shifts for Home Health Workers If passed, a new law would ban 24-hour shifts, a practice advocates call ‘inhumane.’ New for @Documentedny documentedny.com/2026/03/02/…

Proud that our @workerinstitute research on TPS Workers Stories of Belonging is supporting these workers efforts to fight for their right to belong in America. Thank you to @GoIUPAT, unions & legislators who support their efforts. TPS workers are home. #SaveTPS @PowerAtWorkBlog
I was glad to be joined recently in the Immigration Subcommittee by General President of the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades Jimmy Williams, TPS recipients, & other members of IUPAT. I’ll keep fighting for a path to citizenship for TPS recipients.

🇳🇮🇺🇸 #TPS #ProtectTPS #Nicaragua #SaveTPS #DerechosHumano @BiancaJagger @Crisoltin

85 Members of Congress, led by @RepYvetteClarke, @AyannaPressley & @ChrisVanHollen, are calling on the Trump administration to reverse its decision to end #TPS for Haitians. In a letter to DHS Secretary Kristi Noem, lawmakers highlight ongoing gang violence, severe food insecurity & a humanitarian crisis that make deportations unsafe. @SenSchumer have also condemned the administration’s move, calling it reckless & harmful to both Haitians & U.S. interests. They are demanding an 18-month extension of TPS & the restoration of critical U.S. aid to Haiti. Haiti is facing unprecedented violence, with 90% of Port-au-Prince under gang control & over 5,600 people killed in 2024 alone. More than 5.5M Haitians need urgent humanitarian assistance. Ending TPS now is not just cruel—it’s a violation of U.S. law & humanitarian principles. #ProtectTPS #HaitiCrisis #ImmigrationRights #SaveTPS bit.ly/4hIKzHz

Maduro calls defectors 'traitors,' risking arrest & torture for 300,000 Venezuelans if TPS ends—esp. ex-military. U.S. politicians aren’t listening or learning about this danger. We can’t let innocents suffer. Act now! #SaveTPS #HumanRights

Ending TPS for Venezuelans risks uprooting over 300,000 lives—parents, workers, and dreamers who enrich our nation. This isn’t just policy; it’s personal. Let’s champion their contributions and fight for justice. #SaveTPS #VenezuelanStrong #ImmigrationMatters

Our diverse immigrant communities in NJ are made up of hardworking middle class families. Thank you @RepSherrill for fighting against Trump’s hateful policies. #SaveTPS @TPS_Alliance @NDLON
On the eve of the next Trump Administration, it’s critical that we take swift action to protect immigrant communities across New Jersey. I’m calling on DHS Secretary Mayorkas to extend TPS for as long as possible to Hondurans living in the United States.
