CISF Takes Over Security of RRTS ‘Namo Bharat’ Corridor
The security of the RRTS Namo Bharat Corridor was formally handed over to CISF today, during an induction ceremony at New Ashok Nagar, marked by the symbolic handing over of the insignia key by Shri Shalabh Goel, Managing Director, NCRTC, to Shri Praveer Ranjan, DG/CISF.
The induction ceremony was held in the gracious presence of Shri Praveer Ranjan, DG/CISF, along with Shri Shalabh Goel, MD/NCRTC, Shri Vijay Prakash, ADG/HQ, Shri Saroj Kant Mallick, IG/NCR, Shri Sanjay Kumar Sain, DIG/DMRC, and other senior officials of CISF and NCRTC, reaffirming a shared commitment to ensure safe, secure and efficient travel for commuters on India’s first Regional Rapid Transit System.
Thereafter, DG/CISF also performed the Bhoomi Pujan/Shilanyas for bachelor accommodation, marking an important step towards strengthening infrastructure for CISF personnel, followed by interaction with officers and officials to mark the commencement of CISF deployment for securing the Namo Bharat system.
