We are so excited to hear that the train will soon be chugging its way up to Healdsburg and Cloverdale (and maybe Geyserville, too!)

Great news: The measure to continue running the @SMARTTrain is headed for a landslide win!
Measure B put a 30-year sales tax extension up to voters last week, & it's looking like it got a whopping 70% of the vote!
The proposed extension of a quarter-cent sales tax that is the lifeblood for Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit system was running 20 points clear Tuesday night of the simple majority it needs to pass. pressdemocrat.com/2026/06/02…

They're already expanding SR37 along the marsh. If they could put a SMART line on that berm, to bypass the circuitous route via Schellville, that'd be great.

We need @smarttrain expansion along that corridor instead - connecting San Rafael to Fairfield which would make North Bay rail access to Sacramento possible.

SF Climate Week featured Newsom, Lurie, and Al Gore, but SR 37 highway expansion stood out. Transform opposes the $500M project harming wetlands and wildlife while it faces sea level rise. Real solutions are transit and housing, not more highways.
