Tragic loss of a young life. 😔 This heartbreaking video is a stark reminder of how quickly spring break fun can turn deadly especially with alcohol involved and reckless behavior on the road. Michael Brown was just 22. His family is grieving, and the driver now faces DWI charges. Seatbelts save lives. Designated drivers save lives. Let's prioritize safety over viral moments this season. Prayers for his loved ones and everyone impacted. #SpringBreakSafety #DriveSober

Spring Break means more family time and often, more little passengers in the backseat. 💙 As routines change, take an extra moment before you leave your vehicle: 👀 Check the backseat 🔑 Take your keys 🚫 Never leave a child unattended in the car—not even for a minute Temperatures can rise quickly, and what feels like a short stop can turn into a dangerous situation. Parents and caregivers, this is our reminder to be intentional, stay alert, and protect what matters most. From all of us at the Miramar Police Department: your child’s safety starts with small, mindful actions. #MiramarPD #ChildSafety #SpringBreakSafety #LookBeforeYouLock #HotCarPrevention #ProtectOurKids #CommunityFirst

Spring Break and St. Patrick’s Day celebrations are here and DPS is reminding Texans to make safety a priority on the roads and in their communities. Before you head out, keep these tips in mind: ✔️ Don’t drink and drive — make a plan for a safe ride. ✔️ Buckle up every passenger, every trip. ✔️ Put the phone down and eliminate distractions. ✔️ Move Over or Slow Down for first responders and roadside workers. ✔️ Use the left lane for passing only. ✔️ If you can steer it, clear it after a minor crash. As you travel and attend parades, festivals and gatherings, stay aware of your surroundings. If you see suspicious activity, report it through the iWatchTexas program. Texans can also help combat human trafficking by staying alert and reporting concerns to law enforcement. Spring break often means children are home more, routines change, and sometimes families travel. All of that can increase the chance of poison exposures. Pack medicines in their original containers and store them out of reach, whether you’re at home, in a hotel, or staying with family. When you arrive somewhere new, take a moment to look around and move possible poisons to higher places. Wherever you are in the U.S., help is always within reach. Before you travel, download the Poison Help App from the Missouri Poison Center so trusted guidance is available anytime, anywhere. 👉 missouripoisoncenter.org/get… #SpringBreakSafety #PoisonPrevention #TravelSafety #MissouriPoisonCenter #PoisonHelp #FamilySafety #MPCCommunity
