For @StranglesWeek, Rachael and Emily from our Oatridge campus show you how to take your horse's temperature, which is one of several best practices you can adopt to ensure early detection of the disease. #SAW2022#StampOutStrangles@RedwingsHS @BritishHorse
Strangles Awareness Week is back 2 - 8 May. We aim to inspire better biosecurity before an outbreak happens.
Whether you are an equine vet, yard manager or horse owner, we're inviting you to get ready for this year's campaign #SAW2022#TogetherWeCan#StampOutStrangles
Horses can become infected after exposure to another horse that is shedding Streptococcus equi / Strangles bacteria. This can happen when new horses come onto a yard. Do you or your clients isolate and test new horses? Visit equinehealthscheme.com#PASS#StampOutStrangles
