And there are so many Nepalis who don't understand #StructuralPrivilege. They don't understand or deny how that entrenched #StructuralDiscrimination & #SystemicCasteism, d evidence for AS WELL AS the source/cause of the thoroughly corrupt politics of #Nepal (& so much more).

And, in #Nepal's context, "privilege," is synonymous w/ #StructuralPrivilege enjoyed by d Tagadharis, #KhasPrivilege or #TagadhariPrivilege if you will.
In the US "privilege" is also synonymous w/ #StructuralPrivilege, privilege enjoyed by the Whites, i.e. #WhitePrivilege.

That's NOT to say that no one else apart from d Tagadharis enjoy any privilege.
Ofc, others also enjoy a privilege here & a privilege there etc. A wealthy Gurung/Tamang/Rai enjoy/benefit from #ClassPrivilege but they still DON'T have #StructuralPrivilege. ONLY the tagadharis do.

If, as someone with the surname of Khanal, you actually believe that "मैले न केही त्यस्तो विशेषाधिकार [privileges] पाएको छु", then you have no idea what #StructuralPrivilege is & how ONE of the goals/purposes behind #Reservations in #Nepal is to bring about #StructuralEquality.

The existence of poor Khas-Arya’s is NOT evidence of lack of #systemic #CsteBasedDiscrimination, #StructuralIssues in the country, & #structuralPrivilege enjoyed by them more than by others. #Nepal
