On 11th July, TATA AIG conducted five impactful awareness sessions across Andhra Pradesh, ensuring farmers from different regions received timely knowledge on PMFBY and the power of crop insurance. Vandavagili, Holagunda Mandal, Kurnool Led by Mr. S. Siddaramappa, this session focused on educating 10 farmers (including 9 women) on seasonal crop insurance and how to avail its benefits. Baladur, Adoni Mandal, Kurnool Also facilitated by Mr. Siddaramappa, the session empowered 9 farmers, helping them make informed decisions on risk coverage this Kharif season. Garikaparru, Thotlavalluru Mandal, Krishna Here, Mr. V. Mahesh Babu shared brochures and guided 15 attendees through PMFBY benefits, building awareness with clear, farmer-friendly material. Ulchala, Kurnool Mandal, Kurnool An all-women group of 13 farmers joined the session by Mr. B. Kalyan Kumar, focusing on how insurance supports resilience against unpredictable crop loss. Gandhinagar, Ramakuppam Mandal, Chittoor Led by Mr. T. Peddanna, this session reached 7 farmers (6 of them women), covering how to claim, enrol, and stay informed about PMFBY. This leg of the #FasalBimaPathshala trail covered new grounds, fresh faces and deeper conversations, all in the spirit of strengthening farmers’ confidence with insurance awareness. On 6th July 2025, from Lolla (Atreyapuram, Konaseema) to PeddaGonehal (Holagunda, Kurnool), farmers came together to learn how PMFBY supports their harvests with just a small seasonal premium. Tata AIG representatives Mr. T. Ravindra and Mr. S. Siddaramappa led the sessions, explaining enrolment benefits, claim support, and the protection net insurance offers when nature turns unpredictable. On 9th July, three powerful sessions across Baireddipalli (Chittoor), K. Markapuram (Kurnool), and Ampili (Parvathipuram Manyam) focused on breaking myths and building trust. Tata AIG reps T. Peddanna, B. Kalyan Kumar, and R. Ratnam simplified PMFBY’s coverage benefits, eligibility, and the claim mechanism, ensuring no farmer is left unsure or unprotected. On 10th July, a full-day rollout of sessions in Ramkuppam (Chittoor), Peravali (Kurnool), Pedduru (Parvathipuram Manyam), and Pasupala (Kurnool) witnessed active participation from both men and women farmers. The sessions focused on simplifying how crop insurance works, where to enroll, and how to claim in case of losses. On 4th July 2025, as part of Crop Insurance Awareness Program for the Kharif 2025 season, TATA AIG General Insurance Company Ltd. conducted four grassroots-level Fasal Bima Pathshala sessions across Andhra Pradesh. Each session was designed to bring practical, policy-level knowledge to the heart of farming communities. Pavvuluru Village, Inkollu Mandal, Bapatla District Led by Mr. Sunny Babu, the session welcomed 16 farmers (including 1 woman), covering key features, benefits, and how to enrol under PMFBY. The interactive discussion made insurance approachable and relevant. Gargeyapuram Village, Kurnool Mandal, Kurnool District With Mr. B. Kalyan Kumar guiding the way, this session empowered 8 farmers with insights on reporting crop loss, application tracking, and grievance redressal, strengthening confidence in the system. Maddikera MAO Office, Pattikonda Taluk, Kurnool District Mr. Ravi Kumar addressed 7 male farmers, underlining the timely enrolment of both loanee and non-loanee farmers and highlighting fraud prevention for more secure coverage. Bogole Village, Bogole Mandal, Nellore District Mr. P. Vasu focused on building farmer trust through awareness, addressing 8 farmers on how knowledge-backed insurance can protect against unpredictable losses. As part of Crop Insurance Awareness Week, TATA AIG conducted a series of impactful awareness sessions under the Fasal Bima Pathashala initiative across villages in Andhra Pradesh, strengthening farmers' understanding of crop insurance and government schemes like PMFBY. On 2nd July, sessions in Thimareddy Palli and Kavali (Nellore district) were led by Mr. Nagi Ramaraju and Mr. P. Vasu, who broke down complex policy details and clarified eligibility, coverage, and premium structures, empowering farmers to make informed choices. On 3rd July, outreach expanded to Pattikonda, Muthukur RSK, Hebbatam (Kurnool district), and Kuppam (Chittoor district). Field representatives Mr. Ravi Kumar, Mr. T. Peddana, and Mr. S. Siddaramappa facilitated engaging discussions, distributed IEC materials, and built farmer trust in government-backed protection for crop loss. Continuing our on-the-ground efforts to deepen PMFBY awareness, TATA AIG’s Crop Insurance Awareness Program reached more villages across Koppal on July 11th and 12th, 2025. On 11th July 2025, sessions were conducted in Karatagi (Koppal district), where farmers, including women, actively participated in learning about the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana (PMFBY) and how it safeguards their crops and incomes. On 12th July 2025, two impactful sessions took place in Kanakagi and another part of Koppal, engaging a total of 38 farmers, further reinforcing the role of crop insurance in building resilience against natural calamities.
