Congrats @MarkPopinchalk! And loving these visuals @DesirDeion & @jfaherty 🤩 #tesscon2
Replying to @jfaherty
As a bonus he used some amazing visualization work of the nearby solar neighborhood created in @OpenSpaceProj by @DesirDeion to motivate the work. #tesscon2

Enjoyed very much and learned a lot of interesting results. Thanks ! #TESScon2
That's a wrap on a full week of exoplanets, stars, and astrophysics from @TessSciCon2! All the talks and posters will be online for catching up on these amazing results from TESS. 🎥 youtube.com/channel/UCMypoR5… 📊 zenodo.org/communities/tsc2/…

Watch out for more kinematic/gyrochronology work from our team and if you are hiring next year, @MarkPopinchalk will be defending and comes with a bucket load of skills on Tess (and general) light curve analysis! #TESScon2

All of this was enabled by two different @TESSatMIT cycle GO awards. @jasonleecurtis_ has developed some google collaborative code @MarkPopinchalk has been updating for us so everyone from high school students to faculty can join in the light curve analysis fun! #TESScon2

With TESS data, we can peer into the inner workings of stars, as well as find exoplanets! ✨ This result comes just in time for the last @TessSciCon2 session on stellar astrophysics. #TESScon2
Just below stars' surfaces, hot gas rises, cools & then sinks, where it heats again. This produces waves of changing pressure – sound waves. Astronomers have now mapped pulsating red giants across the sky, the opening chords of a symphonic exploration. go.nasa.gov/3jsX4KZ
