April 9, 2025, day it all began for me.
Not with grand plans, not with a roadmap, but with a simple curiosity about a project that couldn't be ignored.
I didn't come to
@StoryProtocol with a portfolio. I came with questions. What exactly is programmable IP? Why is it important? Who are these people who are building this?
And I started writing about it - post after post, trying to understand through research and explanation. Each tweet was me thinking out loud.
In particular, thoughts about:
▫️ IP Strategy - the first company on Nasdaq to hold
$IP as a core reserve asset and operate a validator for Story, bringing the programmable IP economy to public markets.
▫️ Stargate - one of the cross-chain protocols providing access to the Story ecosystem, specifically through bridged USDC.e and broader liquidity flows to the network.
▫️ Lombard, which is exploring and building Bitcoin-backed financial infrastructure within Story’s IP economy, investigating how Bitcoin capital can support royalties, settlements and IP-collateralized guarantees.
▫️ Verio, which is building liquid staking and IP restaking infrastructure for Story, transforming staking into a mechanism for verifying authorship and trust.
▫️ PIPERX - the first major DEX on Story, designed as a liquidity layer for IP-backed assets, memes, RWAs, agents, and other Story-native markets.
▫️ EigenCloud, which is collaborating with Story on the concept of verified intelligence, combining Story’s programmable provenance and licensing layer with verifiable computation and execution.
▫️ Poseidon, which building data infrastructure for AI, transforming datasets created with rights-compliant contributions into trackable and licensed IP assets.
▫️ Numo - Poseidon’s consumer app for data collection, helping users contribute real-world data - specifically voice recordings - with built-in consent, provenance and licensing at every step of the process.
▫️ CopySight - a tool for analyzing copyright risks and AI-generated content, addressing the growing need for provenance, similarity detection, and verification of human authorship.
▫️ GenoBank, which brings genomic and biomedical data into the programmable IP economy, enabling users to own, license, and monetize sensitive biodata through privacy-preserving consent mechanisms.
▫️ ZenO, which is building first-person datasets for robotics and physical AI, allowing users to transmit real-world video, images, and audio via smartphones or smart glasses, registering them as licensed IP assets through Story.
▫️ Seoul Exchange, which chose Story as the sole blockchain for its RWAs and laid the foundation for the tokenization of real assets in the Korean market.
▫️ OKX Ventures, Grayscale, and other market leaders, whose investment and strategic support have validated Story’s broader vision of programmable IP as a new class of digital assets.
▫️ Aria, which is bringing music royalties and entertainment rights on-chain via Story, granting participants access to tokenized royalty streams from renowned music catalogs.
▫️ WITCH and WAVIST, which are building RWA infrastructure for K-culture and creating new ways to combine Korean entertainment industry revenues with on-chain ownership and distribution.
▫️ Sedition, which expands the scope of programmable IP beyond music, converting rights to streaming revenues from digital art into tokenized on-chain structures via Story.
▫️ Magma, which empowers millions of digital artists by integrating IP registration, attribution, licensing, and co-creation directly into creative workflows.
▫️ Yakoa, which helps shift from content takedown methods for IP protection to retroactive licensing in cases of detected matches, remixes, or derivative uses.
▫️ Ablo, which allows creators to design branded merchandise and remix licensed brand IP while maintaining transparency in attribution, rights, and revenue sharing via Story.
▫️
ip.world, which turns meme culture into programmable IP, providing viral content creators with a pathway to ownership, licensing, and monetization.
▫️ Moonbirds and Azuki, whose IP is transitioning into the creation of AI-native games through Verse8 and Story’s licensing infrastructure, enabling communities to build upon iconic on-chain brands.
▫️ Verse8, which allows users to turn creative ideas into playable game worlds, where characters, quests, and locations can be registered, attributed, licensed, and monetized via Story.
▫️ tagSpace, which combines spatial AI with programmable IP, allowing creators and brands to build location-based digital experiences with built-in ownership, licensing, and revenue sharing right from the start.
Each line of my thoughts was not just news - it was another answer to the questions I had started with.
Content creation, participation in the Aria Global Remix Contest Ft. NANA, testing IP Portal v2, Story Skills, Global Wallet, CDR, integrations analysis - all of this was my way of learning.
And somewhere along this journey, I realized that Story is the place where I truly find interest and comfort.
I found new acquaintances and friends here. True like-minded people. Such people with whom it is pleasant to communicate, exchange experiences, and solve common problems.
Recently, Story posed a question to the community: What contributions have you made to Story?
Honestly, it's hard to evaluate myself and determine whether my activities can truly be considered a contribution.
In my opinion, my contribution is not a list of results.
These are days of genuine curiosity and exploration. This is a friendship built across different time zones, thanks to a shared belief in what IP ownership can become. It's mutual support. It is the presence in the quiet moments between announcements, in games, quizzes, and other activities that remind us that this community is made up of people united by a common purpose.
All of this ultimately gave me a foundation for a different way of thinking about creativity and self-development. And the least I can do to show my gratitude is to speak out loud about Story and carry their ideas to the masses.
