But it’s a #TechnicalRecession
$75.2 billion in exports. A new all-time record. Despite the doom and gloom, Canadian businesses are selling more goods to the world than ever before. Energy, agriculture, manufacturing, Canadian products are in demand globally, and the numbers prove it. Exports drive jobs, investment, and growth. Every dollar earned abroad circulates back into the Canadian economy, supporting workers and communities from coast to coast. The narrative that Canada is in economic freefall simply doesn’t hold up against record breaking export data. Criticize government policy all you want, there’s plenty worth debating. But facts don’t bend to narratives. Countries setting export records aren’t countries that have stopped producing, stopped competing, or stopped showing up. $75.2 billion exported in a single month. That’s not a talking point, it’s a fact.

🚨 Canadian living in the U.S. just destroyed the “Mark Carney is a world-class economist” lie in under 3 minutes. She asks the one question Carney’s fans never want answered: “If he’s such a genius… why is housing still unaffordable? Why are groceries still unaffordable? Why are Canadians carrying record debt? And why did Statistics Canada just confirm we’re in a technical recession after TWO straight quarters of economic contraction?” Bonus: She reminds everyone Carney wasn’t some outsider savior — he was already shaping Trudeau’s economic policy before he took the throne. Results matter. Credentials don’t. Drop a 💯 if you’re tired of the Carney hype while everything gets worse. #MarkCarney #cdnpoli #LiberalFail #TechnicalRecession #CanadaEconomy #CarneyLies

🚨 🚨 PP is counting on Canadians not knowing the definition of a Technical Recession. PP is making it out to be a big meltdown 🙄 A technical recession means: 📉 Two consecutive quarters of declining GDP. That’s it. Not unemployment. Not inflation. Not food prices. GDP. And economists are describing Canada’s current situation as a very mild technical recession, not some catastrophic economic collapse. So no, PP, that’s not the same thing as claiming Canada is falling apart. Instead of playing word games, maybe explain why Conservatives voted against affordability measures, dental care, and pharmacare, while Canadians needed help. For years it’s been: ❌ Convoy politics. ❌ MAGA-style outrage. ❌ “Canada is broken.” ❌ Endless negativity. Lots of slogans. Very few solutions. 🇨🇦 Canadians deserve facts, not fear campaigns. #Canada #CanadaStrong #TechnicalRecession #InCarneyWeTrust #NeverConservatives

Two things cannot be true at the same time. Mark Carney stood in the House of Commons on March 25, 2026 and declared: “Affordability is the best it’s been in over a decade.” Liberals keep repeating Canada has “the strongest economy in the G7.” Yet today StatsCan confirmed Canada has now posted **two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth** — a technical recession. Roman Baber just called it straight: “It’s not a ‘technical’ recession. It’s a recession. A @MarkJCarney recession. Stop lying @CBCNews @CTVNews.” So which is it? The “best in a decade”… or the only G7 country sliding backwards? Canadians deserve the truth, not spin. Drop your thoughts 👇 #MarkCarney #TechnicalRecession #cdnpoli #CanadaEconomy #LiberalFail
It's not a "technical" recession. It's a recession. A @MarkJCarney recession. Stop lying @CBCNews @CTVNews.

🔴 VANCOUVER AT THE HEART OF CANADA’S ECONOMIC SLOWDOWN 🇨🇦📉 📍 Vancouver, one of the world’s most expensive cities to live in, is facing growing economic pressure as Canada officially enters a technical recession. ▪️ Rising housing and rental costs 🏠 ▪️ Weak investment and slowing economic activity 📊 ▪️ Increasing pressure on households and the middle class 💰 ▪️ Concerns about labor market weakness 📉 ▪️ Declining consumer confidence ⚠️ After two consecutive quarters of economic contraction, Canada has officially entered a technical recession, raising concerns about the country’s economic outlook. 📉 Canada is currently the only G7 nation experiencing consecutive GDP declines. Is this just a temporary slowdown, or the beginning of a deeper economic crisis? 🇨🇦🌆📊 #Vancouver #Canada #Economy #Recession #TechnicalRecession #HousingCrisis #Inflation #G7 #EconomicOutlook

🚨 MSM IS FINALLY ADMITTING WHAT WE’VE BEEN SAYING FOR YEARS CTV just confirmed it: Canada has slipped into a **technical recession**. StatsCan data shows economic growth stalled in Q1 with slightly negative real GDP — the second straight weak quarter. They’re blaming higher gold imports and a collapse in resource extraction. Meanwhile Mark Carney and the Liberals have been gaslighting Canadians nonstop with this line: “Affordability is the best it’s been in over a decade.” So let’s be real: Was everything we’ve been watching online just “conspiracy theory”… or have the Liberals and Carney been lying straight to our faces the entire time? This admission doesn’t stay a conspiracy forever. It becomes the truth they tried to hide. What do you call this one — more Liberal denial coming, or the mask finally slipping? Canada’s economy is no longer just slowing. It is exposing deeper structural problems. 🇨🇦⚠️ Statistics Canada reported that real GDP contracted at a 0.1 % annualized rate in Q1, following a revised 1.0% decline in Q4 2025. That marks two consecutive quarterly annualized declines, often described as a technical recession. 📉 Business investment declined for the fifth consecutive quarter 🏗️ Government and business capital spending weakened 🚗 Exports were pressured, including autos amid U.S. tariff uncertainty 🛒 Household spending still grew, but not enough to offset broader weakness This may not be a deep recession, but it is a clear sign that Canada’s economic model is under strain. For too long, policymakers have relied too heavily on government spending, population growth and higher taxes, while underemphasizing productivity, private-sector investment and competitiveness. Canada needs less tax and regulatory friction, stronger business confidence, greater long-term trade certainty with the U.S., and a more attractive environment for capital formation. ow.ly/Jahg50Z5BnK #CanadaEconomy #EconomicRecession #EconomicPolicy #TechnicalRecession

Singapore economy: Growth or recession? Depends how you read it. Singapore's economy grew 3.9% YoY in Q1 2025, but shrank 0.6% QoQ (seasonally adjusted). If Q2 contracts again, it could mean a technical recession. #SingaporeEconomy #TechnicalRecession #GlobalMarkets #Markets

The @CMEGroup rolled #FeederCattle to the August contract this morning, however; the volume is still in the May contract so day-trading either is fine for the next week but switch to the "Q" contract for swing trading. The volume in #CrudeOil continues to shift to the June contract; all the #energy futures are rolling over to the "M" contracts, except for Natural Gas which is not due to rollover for another week. The volume in #SoybeanMeal is shifting to the July contract, as all the #grains are expected to rollover to the "N" contracts in the next week or so. The share prices of Advanced Micro Devices $AMD, Intel Corp $INTC, and other US #microchip producers have been falling in the pre-market after the Chinese government ordered Chinese telecommunication companies to phase out the use of foreign processors. This morning we get a Consumer Sentiment report at 10:00am ET; the Baker Hughes Rig count at 1:00pm ET; and three #FedSpeakers today. The European Central Bank #ECB kept #InterestRates unchanged yesterday, but hinted to a #RateCut at the June meeting. The British #UKEconomy is no longer in a #TechnicalRecession after last night's GDP report showed .01% growth last quarter.

The #UK & #Japan are entering into a #technicalrecession, @nolanfontaine12 . We did an episode a few weeks ago exploring the #InternationalMonetaryFund @IMFNews #worldeconomicoutlook which was predicting a slow down or even recession in several markets. youtu.be/OGz-GV4U7OI?si=jZS6… Only the US had defied these trends so far. Nevertheless, we boast an economy ripe for a #recession resembling that of 2000s with high growth but rising #inequality and poverty and unstable inflation.
