This young man has taken advantage of that provision, which gives individuals, businesses, estates, factories, and communities the ability to generate up to 1 megawatt (1MW) of electricity without obtaining a license from the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC).
As a stakeholder in the sector, this could be another opportunity for the government to reduce its over-dependency on the national grid.
Kudos to this young man, he has surely gotten the grip on his house network, with a proper metering and monitoring system for his neighbours.

Todayโs Space on โGetting Started in Web2 & Web3โ was a success despite all the odds. Huge appreciation to every speaker and listener who showed up, shared insights, and contributed to the conversation. ๐๐พ Especially my Co-Hosts @Confidence_790 And @TheSultaan001
We learned the importance of joining communities, learning valuable skills, staying consistent, and showing up repeatedly. Growth comes from learning, practicing, and improving daily.
A key takeaway from @TheSultaan001 "Build your foundation in Web2 before fully diving into Web3". Both paths require focus, and building them separately makes the journey clearer and more effective.
