🇦🇱 My Albania mission trip was truly a 10/10 experience, and honestly very different from many of my past mission trips because I personally received so much during this journey as well. First of all, I want to thank my cousins Mikael and Maria Elfving for inviting me to Albania to help network and support their vision of starting a Teen Challenge-style rehabilitation centre in Sweden 🇸🇪 They have a genuine heart for ministry and for people trapped in addiction, just like I once was. Earlier this year, visiting Sweden was an incredible experience. I had the opportunity to travel to the Arctic Circle ❄️, pray for people, preach the Gospel on the streets, and connect with Teen Challenge recovery centres. But one of the most special moments was being able to share my testimony with my entire family. Around 40 family members gathered together in Mikael and Maria’s home, and I was able to openly share the Gospel, reconnect with relatives I had never really known before, and talk about what Jesus Christ has done in my life ❤️ About 100 years ago, my grandfather left Sweden, and Mikael’s grandmother and my grandfather were brother and sister, which makes us second cousins. It was a real honour to spend time with him personally, and Lord willing, I hope to continue working together with them and help support their vision however I can as they move forward with this ministry dream in Sweden 🙏 Thank you to all my friends and supporters who are part of this ministry outreach and helped make this trip possible.
