Testtaking at one’s own pace. A student who is ready to move to the next level should not have to wait until the next semester. But also, a student who is not yet ready for the test, but could be in 2 weeks, needn’t be penalized for misaligning w/ an arbitrarily chosen exam date.

Plenty of multilingual people score low due to cultural bias in tests, and plenty of native speakers score low due to dyslexia or ADHD. IQ measures testtaking in a narrow format ,not your worth or full intelligence capabilities.

Depends if there is any reason to have such a test at all? There are good reasons to practice mental games but tests mostly test testtaking ability. In the real world we have calculators. Schools should mostly teach how to participate in real, not rank them on artificial games.
