The solution to Iran’s crisis is the overthrow of the clerical regime by the people of Iran and their Resistance. A democratic republic and the Ten-Point Plan reject both religious despotism and monarchical fascism.

In Iran’s case multiple factors exist that can guide the post-regime period toward an orderly and democratic path.
Foremost among them is the existence of a credible, long-standing democratic alternative: the National Council of Resistance of Iran.
This alternative is rooted in an extensive nationwide network in cities across Iran. Therefore, we will not be starting from zero on “day one” after the regime’s fall.

Reza Pahlavi is inconsistent in his views on the IRGC. In this 2017 @VOAfarsi interview he says the Revolutionary Guards & Basij have “bled for Iran” and are not terrorists. Last summer he even invited them to defect to him.

•The people of Iran and the Iranian Resistance—after countless martyrs—are impatiently waiting for the EU to designate the IRGC as a terrorist organization, with the agreement of all member states and the alignment of other European countries. The IRGC is the regime’s main tool of repression and the export of terrorism and war. This decision is decades overdue.
•All eyes are now on the EU Foreign Affairs Council meeting on Thursday, January 29. Forty years of appeasement and endless debate are enough. Do not delay the terrorist designation of the IRGC any longer.
•Just as Iranians once demanded the dismantling of the Shah’s secret police, they now demand the dissolution of the IRGC. They reject the SAVAK, the IRGC, and the MOIS, and call for a democratic republic based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
•The Iranian Resistance has long made this clear: if the ruling regime of velayat-e faqih truly had no intention of repression, warmongering, or exporting terrorism, a single army would suffice. The Iranian people should not be forced to bear the additional cost of the IRGC on top of their suffering.
