TYSM!!! if you have any problems, feature requests, etc, feel free to send me a DM/email. always happy to figure out how I can add more value to it. to answer your question: context switching, basically. one of the big problems my ICP has with most todoapps is that they work for doing one "job": school, accounting, sales, software, etc. this feature aims to help solve that problem (yes, it's effectively just workspaces :p)

serious answer: it's the same reason UI frameworks use todoapps to introduce their abstractions: state management, persistence, routing, filtering etc. similarly for flights/travel: unstructured data (browser ui), dynamic data, human in the loop, unpredictable ui and timing, etc.
