For the snow we had I thought the sloughs would be large but a slow melt with our seedbed prep conditions has seen normal sloughs and I’m guessing good infiltration. We will see in a week or two when we can probe moisture.

Thanks Tyler. Took a few pictures yesterday of what good (not great yet) soil armour looks like as the snow melts away and we see our canvas to paint a better ROI for the year(s) to come. Exciting. @SaskSoil @ultimateyield

Nice to be done seeding a field and see good soil armour. Hard to do in the past drought years. Should be even better next year if the durum produces a good straw crop. @SaskSoil @ultimateyield

As an old commercial said. Spot the difference. Cost is the difference. Paying for soil that needs to stay on my field. As we seed away and watch dust boiling around in low residue areas I know rotation and varietal choices matter. @ultimateyield @SaskSoil
